Mandarin Speaking Online Travel Consultant Indian Ocean Specialist – Homeshoring Opportunity

Concierge-Hotels.com is an online travel agency offering Privilege Services and Hotels in Mauritius, Seychelles, Rodrigues, Réunion, Maldives, Madagascar & Sri Lanka.

We are hiring an Online Travel Consultant, mandarin speaking, specialized on Indian Ocean hotels and resorts, to handle with particular attention all pre-arrangements/bookings for guests’ stay, and work in close collaboration with hotels and partners.

• To do follow-up on confirmations and reservations with a view to maximize sales for Concierge-Hotels.com,
• To act as sales facilitator for Concierge-Hotels.com at all times,
• To be up to date on the airline regulations, current affairs and daily price market for Indian Ocean,
• To assist Concierge-Hotels.com in their sales effort in a proactive manner with the highest level of service, courtesy and professionalism,
• To assist clients on travel information such as visa and health formalities,
• To keep clients up to date and inform them about the trip,
• To attend to enquiries and reservations from customers; to prepare quotations as per standards in a timely manner and to liaise with all airlines to clear waitlists, update queries, firm-up reservations, etc.,
• To provide the best available fares in the Clients’ interest,
• To keep client profiles and be familiar with any special needs, requests and any frequent flyer rewards that have been accrued.
• To prepare weekly sales reports for Management,
• To process refund and do follow up accordingly,
• To be loyal and ethical to Concierge-Hotels.com as your employer,
• To attend to reservations duties such as hotel accommodations, transfers, handle travel insurance and car rentals for the clients and issue vouchers for the auxiliary services,
• To create and maintain a good working environment and encouraging team spirit amongst colleagues,
• To do online bookings for holidays packages using IT skills,
• To perform any other cognate duties as and when required by Management.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in reservations, OR

- MINIMUM Diploma in Tourism Management for those without experience,

Above 4 years of experience,

- Fully conversant to word & excel and Synexis Sabre Hospitality solutions,

- Being in the tourism industry, candidates should have a flexible approach to their working hours and be able to work under pressure,

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.

WORKING HOURS & LOCATIONS

Working hours go from 6:30am to 4:30pm Mauritius time (2:30am to 12:30pm GMT http://www.worldtimebuddy.com/gmt-to-ist-converter)

Work location is based in Mauritius Floreal or possibly in homeshoring.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Fixed salary based on experience + commissions on sales
